When the going gets rough, it can at times be easy to lose sight of what we set out to attain in our lives, be it in our personal endeavours, work or finances. The process of going & pushing through such situations may not be most comfortable, but persevering and talking about how to handle them is necessary. These are perspectives I found useful and inspiring. I hope this gives you hope. | These 7 Qualities Lead To Perseverance When Faced With Adversity Like the ability to find meaning, to be vulnerable, connect & ask for help, having a supportive relationship with oneself, being able to surrender and trust in the face of uncertainty, having a sense of humour, mental calmness even in times of difficulty, and the ability to cultivate perspective and gratitude. | Grit: Perseverance and Personal Finance Saving money and making continual progress toward financial goals seems like it is just plain easy for some people. Is this is because they have a mind for finances, or they are talented with money? | Bear Cub’s Perseverance Proves That You Only Fail When You Stop Trying | Proudly Brought to You I seek to reach out to people who care about creating a safe financial environment for their loved ones. Let me know if I can get to help someone you know or care about. Please do not keep me a secret. He knows his work and is never pushy with us. Good service | | | Eddie Chin, HR Business Partner, CAG I’ve known Kenneth since my army days, so that works out to more than 20 years… I must say since those days, Kenneth has been a natural mentor in caring for and taking care of his course mates (me included!). Armed with a positive and never-say-die attitude, he regularly galvanizes every one of us fellow trainees to “endure and excel” throughout the few months of training together. From the tough times we faced together, you could clearly tell that Kenneth was someone you could depend on, in good or bad times… 😊
I recall Kenneth was already clear at that young age (where most guys are probably trying to “act cool”), that he wanted to go into the financial planning line to help relatives and friends better plan for their needs at various stages of life. We continued keeping in touch after we were posted to different camps in Singapore, and shortly after we turned operationally ready he got his financial planner licence with Prudential! Without a doubt, I took up my first life policy with him after starting work myself. Fast forward 20 years, and Kenneth continues to conscientiously plan for me and my family’s needs in terms of insurance coverage. I mean it when I say “needs”, coz Kenneth never pushes for me to take on more than I should or could.
Now that he’s leading his own team, he remains down to earth and continues to keep tab on me and my family’s well-being, as a good friend and trusted financial advisor. | | | Cheryl Phua, Assistant Director Civil Service Have known Kenneth for more than 10 years as a financial advisor through a friend. He has shown genuineness and care in terms of having your interests in mind and gradually become more like a friend over the the time that we have known each other. | | | Xaye Lee, Teacher I know Kenneth in 2001 when I bought my very First insurance from him. Being new to the workforce, I am overwhelmed with the different products in the market. He patiently explains everything in layman's term to aid my understanding. Since then, I will only go to him for my every insurance needs.
In 2001.. he is a black haired young man full of zest and passion. Now, he is already a NOT so young white haired uncle! But the Zest and passion remains!
Kenneth is just like a "life buoy"- coming to my "rescue" at the darkest and lowest moments in my life..
Thank you Kenneth! For always being so willing to going beyond your call of duty to help! | | | Wilson Low, Enterprise Business Manager In 2018, I was looking for a Sales Opportunity in my IT industry. However, my Prudential Financial Consultant shared with me about his work and introduced me to his Team Lead, Kenneth. For a person like me who was already 50yo then, without any experience in the Sales and Financial Industries, it was not easy for me to switch and become a FC but Kenneth was a very patient and knowledgeable Mentor. He was able to teach and abundantly share his knowledge and experience with all his new FCs, and I am proud to be in his Multi Million Dollar Agency Team. I would recommend Kenneth to those who are looking for a good Financial Mentor to achieve your career goal as a Financial Consultant. | | | Anitha, Teacher Kenneth was my first insurance advisor when I started working back in 2002. He has since become a good family friend. As a caring and thoughtful person, he never fails to support us whenever we need his assistance. Whenever I have a query or doubt, Kenneth has never hesitated to explain patiently and offer alternate solutions or suggestions. Really fortunate to have met you almost 20 years ago, Kenneth. I wish you only the best! Thank you, Kenneth! | | | | |
